Who restored your scooter?
Whats going on with where the dampner attaches to the
front fork?  It would be fun to find out at 45mph!
I think this photo is of the same scooter shown to your left.
This is REALLY SCARY!!
When a scooter has been driven hard for fourty years on "rustic"
backroads, the only thing left is to cut up the good parts, weld them
together, slap some paint on 'em and sell them to Americans.
OK, these aren't scooter engines, but look at the work
conditions these folks have to put up with.
The center channel of your Vespa is like the backbone of
the frame.  When it's been damaged, and then they cover
up the damage with Bondo, you have a HUGE compromise
in structural integrity
I really don't know what's
going on with the handle
bars but somewhere behind
all that pink bondo is a
legshield.
Uhhh... The scoot just kind
of broke in half.....how much
to fix it?
OSHA has not approved of this work station
nor the hammer he is using.

I just found a website that
documents the restoration
process of an Asian Bodge
job scooter.  The shop builds
a new engine, then  it
replaces the frame.  That's
right, the restoration is
basically replacing almost the
whole scooter.   PLEASE
TAKE A LOOK
HERE.
