Hello

I am Andrew Baca owner and chief mechanic of Scooter Rescue.
The photo above is me in
1983 on my
first motor scooter a 1974 Vespa Rally 200.  I drove from Los Angeles to Phoenix
Arizona to pick up
it up in near mint condition.  My first lesson in scooter ownership was to
remember to remove the battery before placing a scooter on it's side in the back of Dad's
station wagon.  Yeah, that pesky battery acid did a number on Dad's Buick station wagon
interior.

Six years ago, I got back into scooters with a vengeance.  I began fixing my scooters, then
friends, and then anyone that called.  I recently  changed careers and am now working as a
High School Science Teacher.  My shop will probably open for summers only until I get more
teaching experience under my belt.

If you are in the New England area, please feel free to contact me with questions about your
vintage Italian scooter.
